Exam Review: 2017 ATAR Physics

The 2017 ATAR Exam for Physics was harder than people anticipated. Immediately following the exam, the news headlines read:

But was it actually that hard? Not really. Only one question was flat-out incorrect, a few questions were poorly phrased and some of the topics went a bit beyond the scope of the textbooks. According to the examiners, all questions remained within the scope of the curriculum. The average score across all the students in the state was 50%.

Note to my students: We will complete this exam over 6 pressure-filled Monday sessions.
